COVID-19 Safety

All our staff are fully briefed on our COVID policy
and you can see here what we are doing to keep
everyone safe.

COVID-19 Safety

Following the emergence of the Omicron variant we wanted to assure you we are still doing everything we can to keep everyone safe.

Our staff never stopped regularly testing and are required to do so a minimum of twice a week. These results are recorded to help us monitor and maintain any infection rate.

We are reintroducing masks within communal areas of the building for all staff. Any visitors to the nursery will once again be required to wear a face covering for the duration of their visit and are asked to take a lateral flow test and receive a negative result before their visit.

Again this never stopped but we encourage everyone to regularly wash and sanitise their hands and work spaces and have masks, tissues and sanitiser available for those who do not have them.

We have extensive measures in place within the nursery to ensure we are fully Covid Safe and these measures are reviewed regularly.

Updated – Monday 29th November 2021

At Whiz Kids Day Nurseries we take the safety of the children, our team and you very seriously, that is why our staff are updated regularly on our COVID-19 Procedures which help us limit the spread and keep everyone safe.

Our staff are required to take a lateral flow test a minimum of twice a week. These results are recorded to help us monitor and maintain any infection rate.

Drop off/collections – these are still outside the building. Please be mindful of others when dropping off and collecting your child and respect that some people do prefer to social distance still. We will not be allowing parents to gather in or at the main entrance.

Windows will be open in order to allow fresh air and natural ventilation.

Show arounds – we will still be conducting viewings of our wonderful nurseries however anyone visiting the nursery will be required to provide a negative lateral flow test result on arrival, be free of any COVID symptoms, sanitise their hands on arrival and wear a mask throughout their visit. Show arounds are also being offered virtually for those that prefer this option.

We will continue to follow and adjust our policy as required to meet with the advice and guidelines set out by the UK Government and Department for Education. If you or your child presents any COVID symptoms please get a PCR test and stay at home until a negative result is confirmed, until the result is received please keep your children at home.

We have extensive measures in place within the nursery to ensure we are fully Covid Safe and these measures are reviewed on a weekly basis or as and when required. If you have any questions or concerns then please speak with your nursery manager.
